1. How long does shipping take?

2. What are shipping costs?
Calculated at checkout based on weight/destination. Wicker sofas may have separate freight charges. Free standard shipping on qualifying orders.

3. Do you ship outside the contiguous US?
Currently, only to the contiguous 48 states.

4. Do items require assembly?

  • Wicker sofas: Yes, require assembly (attaching legs, sections). Instructions included. Often requires two people.

  • Portable tea sets: No assembly – ready to use.

5. What safety standards do your wicker sofas meet?

Flammability – 16 CFR Part 1640 (Mandatory):
All upholstered furniture manufactured, imported, or sold in the U.S. must comply with 16 CFR Part 1640, which incorporates California Technical Bulletin 117-2013 as the federal standard. This standard evaluates smolder resistance of cover fabrics, barrier materials, and filling materials.

Permanent Certification Label: All our wicker sofas bear a permanent label with the exact required wording: "Complies with U.S. CPSC requirements for upholstered furniture flammability.". The label must be clearly visible, font height at least 1/8 inch, using black type on a white background with a black border (attached to the product‘s front surface).

CPSIA Compliance – Lead in Surface Coatings (16 CFR Part 1303): Any painted or coated components must not exceed 90 ppm lead.

Formaldehyde Emissions: CARB ATCM Phase 2 compliance applies if composite wood components are present in the sofa structure.

General Certificate of Conformity (GCC): Available upon request, certifying compliance with 16 CFR Part 1640 (flammability), 16 CFR Part 1303 (lead), and CARB ATCM Phase 2.

6. How do I care for my wicker sofa?

  • Vacuum rattan/wicker surfaces with soft brush attachment.

  • Spot clean fabric cushions with mild detergent and damp cloth; blot – do not rub.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

  • Avoid moisture – wicker can be damaged by prolonged water exposure.

7. What are the FDA food contact requirements for tea sets?

All portable tea sets are manufactured from materials that comply with FDA 21 CFR food contact safety standards: Food contact materials must comply with FDA regulations under 21 CFR for polymers, ceramics, glass, and coatings.

  • Ceramic, porcelain, glass components meet FDA lead and cadmium leaching limits.

  • Plastic components are BPA‑free and comply with 21 CFR 177 and 175 requirements.

  • Metal components (e.g., stainless steel teapots) are food‑grade 18/8 or 18/0 compliant with FDA 21 CFR 175.300.

8. What is California Proposition 65 for tea sets?
Important – Ceramic and Glass Tableware: Proposition 65 has active enforcement against lead in externally decorated glass and ceramics. During 2026, there were 512 Prop 65 notices, with one‑third related to lead and cadmium in ceramic items, glassware, and tableware.

  • General use ceramics/glass: Lead ≤0.06%; Cadmium ≤0.48% in decorative materials.

  • If any product exceeds safe harbor levels, a Prop 65 warning is displayed on product pages and packaging.

9. How do I care for my portable tea set?

  • Ceramic/porcelain: Hand wash with mild soap; dry thoroughly. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

  • Glass: Dishwasher safe; handle with care – may break if dropped.

  • Stainless steel: Dishwasher safe.
